We Remember 09/28/2009
The concept of Bubble Parties was started by Rockland, Massachusetts DJ and entertainer John Allo to provide additional income for his mobile entertainment business. In 2005, John retired as “The Bubble Music Man” for health reasons, and began sharing his Bubble Party concept with DJs all across the United States. I can’t remember when I first met him, however, he is one of the very few people in the mobile entertainment industry that I ever looked up to. He was a professional in running his business, and a great friend. John was one of the people who taught me the value of developing a personal relationship with my customers. He gave me the encouragement and inspiration to go full time as a mobile DJ and entertainer, which I finally did in 1998. I will never forget the look of disappointment John had on the day that we met to discuss having me take over for him. He truly enjoyed performing at Bubble Parties and entertaining children. I will also never forget the look of pride when he asked me to do it. I have been very honored to have John select me personally to carry on this exciting concept. It saddens me to share with you that on November 4th, 2007, John passed away at home. John was beloved at preschools and daycares throughout the South Shore area of Boston, Massachusetts. In addition to performing at Bubble Parties, John entertained for many years at weddings, private parties and school dances. John leaves behind his wife Patty, and three children. He also leaves behind a legacy of smiles, laughter, joy, and of course… Bubbles! “The original Bubble Music Man” will never be forgotten! I personally consider it a honor to have known him, am grateful for his support, friendship and trust, and will miss him more than I could ever express in words.
